What does a credit pay for?
One credit per script draft or revision, or two when web research is switched on. Audio is charged per billable minute: 1 credit for Draft, 3 for Premium, 6 for Excellent. Billable length is the longer of the selected length and the script's estimated spoken length.
Do I need a credit card to try it?
No. The free plan gives you 15 credits every month, which is enough to write a script and render a short Draft episode.
Can I edit the script before it is narrated?
Yes. Every episode keeps an editable script. Rewrite it by hand or ask the AI editor for a revision, then generate the audio when it reads the way you want.
How long can an episode be?
Anywhere from 1 to 60 minutes. The audio cost scales with the finished length, so a 5-minute Draft episode costs 5 credits.
Which languages and formats are supported?
Scripts and narration are available in 18 languages, including American and British English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Hindi, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Finished episodes download as MP3 or WAV.
What happens to my credits if a render fails?
They are refunded automatically. Credits are only reserved while a job runs and are charged once it succeeds. Included plan credits reset each billing period, while purchased top-up credits do not expire.
